{"id":855,"date":"2016-02-15T08:38:04","date_gmt":"2016-02-15T08:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hpca22.site.ac.upc.edu\/?page_id=855"},"modified":"2016-02-15T08:38:52","modified_gmt":"2016-02-15T08:38:52","slug":"companion-assistance-support","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hpca22.site.ac.upc.edu\/index.php\/for-attendees\/companion-assistance-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Companion Assistance Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Companion Assistance Support<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The IEEE Technical Committee on Computer Architecture (TCCA) will provide limited support to help offset the costs for a companion care-provider for an IEEE TCCA member who is:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> &#8211; a person with a physical disability necessitating a companion, or<\/li>\n<li> &#8211; a parent of an infant less than two years old who cannot travel without the infant and a care-provider for the infant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The only costs covered are those incurred solely for the transportation of the companion. Shared transportation expenses, such as taxis, and non-transportation costs, such as room and board, are not covered.
